Trusted by Utah Since 1961

Family-Owned, Licensed, and Guaranteed

Since 1961, A-1 Exterminators has provided reliable pest control in Salt Lake City and the surrounding Wasatch Front, including West Jordan, Sandy, and West Valley. As a locally owned, family-run exterminator in Salt Lake City, we combine six decades of hands-on experience with modern, EPA-approved treatment methods that actually work, and last.

Every technician on our team is licensed, insured, and trained to treat your property with the same care we would give our own homes. Whether you need a single visit or an ongoing residential or commercial pest control plan, we back every treatment with a results guarantee, so you can count on results, not just promises.

About Us

Why Salt Lake City Homeowners and Businesses Choose A-1?

We didn’t earn a 4.9-star rating and 65 years in business by cutting corners. Our process is built around precision, transparency, and results you can see, whether we’re handling ant control in West Jordan or setting up a quarterly pest control service for a Sandy office building.

Targeted Pest Identification

We start every job by identifying exactly what you’re dealing with, whether it’s ants, spiders, boxelder bugs, or rodents, and where it’s coming from. Correct identification means we treat the actual problem, not just the symptoms.

Customized Treatment Plans

No two properties are the same. We build a treatment plan around your home or business and your pest pressure, whether that’s a one-time visit or a recurring quarterly or triennial pest control service.

Safe, Professional Application

Our licensed technicians apply every treatment using EPA-approved products and methods that are safe for your family, pets, and employees, without sacrificing effectiveness.

Guaranteed Results

If pests return between scheduled visits, so do we, at no extra cost to you. That’s our results guarantee on every service we provide.
